Pre-Disposition: Youth detained pending a disposition by the court.
Post-Disposition: Youth detained pursuant to a court disposition, including those whose cases have been adjudicated but are pending transfer to another program. Includes youth who are concurrently pre-and post-disposition.
Estimated: Youth reported by Probation for a specific day are used as an indicator of ADP for months not yet formally reported. These numbers are reported by probation during monthly JJDPC meetings.

Youth on diversion: Low or medium risk youth with diversion contracts for 90-days or six-months. May include Victim Impact Awareness program, Petty Theft Program, Juvenile Mediation Program, Community Service or Letter of Reprimand.
Youth at DJJ: SMC youth at California’s Division of Juvenile Justice facility.
Youth on AB 12: Youth between ages of 18 and 21 in extended foster care who have completed their court-ordered placement and are terminated from Probation.
Youth in Placement: Youth supervised by Probation who are in out-of-home placements.
Youth on EMP: Youth on the Electronic Monitoring Program and/or CAMS device (alcohol detection).

Each youth is counted only once and is reported for the most serious offense.
If a youth is held on a violation of probation only, the offense on which the probation is based is recorded.
If a youth is in custody on a bench warrant, the underlying charge is recorded.
If a youth is in custody for a WIC 601 offense, they are shown under misdemeanor.

Youth Receiving Psychotropic Meds: The number of youth who were administered psychotropic medication on the 15th day of the month.
